Who has legal custody of child when parents are unwed?

Mom usually gets first "dibs" at custody no matter where you are, but if is isn't set in law, then there is no legal custody, but they usually won't take a child away from their mother unless they can prove she isn't fit to take care of them and it is in the childs best interest to be placed with dad more.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
