Who is the.best boxer? Was Mohammed Ali the best? Was Mike Tyson the best?

Ali. Tyson was explosive for the first few rounds but no one managed to get Ali out of their early doors, after the mid way point Tyson started to crumble, which is what would happen here. Although Frazier and Norton gave Ali fits (I'd have Norton winning all 3 fights with Ali) they were both fighters who never knew when to quit, Mike seems to like to quit when he can't get them out of their.

That is hard to determine they were both great fighters in the day but if you had to go on pound for pound style it would be Mike Tyson in his prime. Don't get me wrong both were quick and powerful for being heavy weight but I believe if the match up was today Mike Tyson would win.

In my opinion Muhammad Ali was EASILY the better fighter. Don't forget the way he masterfully dispatched George Foreman in Zaire, I think it was, in the "Rumble in the Jungle. " I don't know if Mike Tyson, a formidable puncher to be sure, who often had his opponents beaten (through intimidation) before the referee started the fight -- was really as good as we thought he was.

I could be wrong, but that is my suspicion. Also, you know the conventional wisdom (and we have no reason to disbelieve this to my knowledge) -- "A good boxer beats a good puncher. " Even if we want to say that Tyson was a great puncher (which is still doubtful in my mind), Muhammad Ali was definitely a great boxer!

I think that Ali boxed in an era where boxing was a more prominent sport and that he was certainly a better self-promoter. But Mike Tyson was a better boxer (and puncher). Watch this video and I think that you will agree that Mike Tyson was winning matches with more than intimidation.

Purely by record, Muhammad Ali was better. He had 6 more wins and 1 less loss on his record. If you ask me, I like Ali's fighting style better, but many people think that Tyson would prevail over Ali if there was an actual match-up.

I think not, as long as they were both in their prime conditions.

In my opinion, Tyson was perhaps the better fighter. However, Ali was a better showman. And, as with anything, it is often the showman who wins out in the end.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
