Why animals or birds who occupy a large territory in jugle are closed in a small cage without any adequate space to keep their natural talents?

For Sport ...!Like Romans fed slaves, to wild lions ... and drew pleasure, from the agony of suffering humans ... they soon turned upon themselves ... and today, all thats left, of the so called, the "Great Roman Civilization" ... are a few crumbling marble Pillars!

First thing to realise is that most animals held in captivity today were born there and not in the wild. So they know nothing about the wild. In the wild they need a territory to supply food, water and companionship. In an area rich in food the territory will be small.

One lacking food will be larger. In a zoo the 'territory' can be that much smaller as (well in a GOOD zoo) all requirements are provided. The wild is a a dangerous place, full of stresses, dangers and disease and the wild grows smaller every second of every day.

In spite of the horrors of the wild the animals in zoos should be there but in the present state of play on our planet zoo animals are better off where they are.

Because we as Homo Sapiens are entitled to the Earth and all its glory without restriction or consequence. Animals are ours to enslave and eat with ketchup.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
