Why are women banned from driving in Saudi Arabia?

I wish to know the answer my self, but the best thing I came up with is that if they will allow women to drive they will start losing control over women, as in Saudi arabia a woman is considered a second degree human and totally controlled by the men in her life. And the no. 1 reason as told by saudi men is that if a woman went out by her self and drive her own car she will face all type of harassment as youngsters (men) here see a woman only as a sex object, so based on that men say we don't want our wives, daughters and sisters to face such a situation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
