I just don't get the Benghazi issue. The facility was undermanned and was attacked. It wasn't unreasonable, initially, to think it might have been triggered by the YouTube video.
After all, there were riots elsewhere in the Arab world at the same time over the video. So then it turned out that the attack had been planned. OK, by terrorists.
So was 9-11, and few people (sane people, at least) said that George W. Bush set it up. Yes, there were warnings prior to 9-11 but I really don't believe the Administration then connected the dots sufficiently.
I think Bush was not the brightest bulb, but I don't think he was a traitor. So we get to Benghazi. It's attacked by terrorists and initially there appeared to be confusion about what triggered it.
I don't think Obama set it up and the truth actually came out pretty quickly. Where's the cover-up. As for Watergate, Nixon's top aides were directing that money be handed out and that the headquarters of the opposition be broken into.
That's not at all comparable to either 9-11 or Benghazi. I consider myself a political independent, with a libertarian streak. So, when you ask: "Dems do you even care?"
I can't answer that as a Democrat. Still, I care that people were killed. I care that a terrorist attack occurred.
But I honestly don't see a cover-up in that.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
