Why did Blaise Pascal invent the Pascal triangle?

The Pascal Triangle was not invented by Pascal per say; tons of mathematicians before him had studied it. He just happened to be the one that got the most results out of it. The Pascal Triangle is a very natural table of the binomial coefficients, and it can be found quite easily when you are looking at the right things. So I guess you can say that the reason it was invented is was because it just happens to pop up when looking at binomial coefficients.

See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal's_triangle.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
