Why did 'Gender Studies' turn into 'Gender & Women's Studies?

If you are asking if most of this section is just ranting , I would say yes but then those questions and answers disappear and more ranting happens - it's very dysfunctional here for sure. Some of us do try to answer with evidence and statistics too - those answers are the first to get deleted usually.

The board used to have more diversity and more interesting questions were asked however some of the groups in section try and run a closed shop - so it has become boring for anyone who is not part of that little group the section does not attract new users - most of the people who post here have been here for many years and much of the volume is interacting multiple accounts normal people who are not immersed in role playing or addicted to Yahoo answers, just switch off seriously - when you have a section where people will answer you with four or 5 accounts with explicit sexual harassment and this is condoned and often encouraged - you are only going to get loonys posting EDIT: here is a question for you - https://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/in... someone has moved this to the answers section.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
