Why did German chancellor say multiculturalism has failed a year ago, when she is so pro open border EU?

Germany is full of foreign nationals and opening the borders is their way of dumping them on the rest of us.

The EU is the biggest trading bloc on the planet. The EU open border policy is about unrestricted trade and access to markets between member states. That is why the UK will never leave the EU despite Cameron's and Merkel's opportunistic posturings. It is about money and profits for European and UK firms.

As with all capitalist economies people come a long way behind profits and cash flows into the coffers of the global elite.

The answer is simple. Being a politician she cannot speak the truth and say that its not Europes open borders and freedom of EU member states to move freely that has caused the problem, it is, plain and simply, ISLAMIC IMMIGRATION that has wrecked everything including the hearts and minds of the indigenous people within all of the top member states. Islam has created the multicultural Hell that the whole of Europe is now suffering.

BUT Politicians are too pumped up with ego to dammed well admit that they have made a monumental screw up. Europe will never see peace until Islam has been removed completely.....A fact that none but the honest and the fearless protectors of their country's, and their children's future will stand and face. The rest of the cowardly gutless b@stards cower in corners muttering racist to anyone who dares try to sort the nightmare out.

I tend to agree with her. The influx of immigrants to every country, and forcing resident citizens to adapt to THEM, rather than the immigrants adapting to their new culture, has caused more problems, and strife. Multi-culturalism has failed miserably, and has disrupted centuries of traditions, and customs in native lands.

Because she's clueless: "Social scientists can measure multiculturalism in a given society by examining the number and content of public policies and government pronouncements around cultural recognition and accommodation. Such indices show that Germany is not, and has never been, a multicultural society. Multiculturalism can’t have failed in Germany because it was never tried.

Turkish guest workers and other immigrants were never welcomed as future citizens – only as temporary labour. If Germans are now concerned about the consequences, the blame certainly doesn’t lie with multiculturalism. " Also this: "Over four decades, incredibly rapid demographic change has transformed Canada, especially its largest cities. In Europe, similar change has resulted in riots and cultural tensions that have tarnished the concept of multiculturalism there.

But, in Canada, these changes, despite many challenges, happened peacefully, productively and positively. Multiculturalism was part of the solution, not the problem." Quotes from - theglobeandmail.com/news/opin… Imagine if the USA (the only 1st World nation without universal healthcare) suddenly started pretending it did have universal healthcare.

And started whining about how it doesn't work and blah-blah-blah. -Sane, educated and rational people would burst out laughing at such nonsense. Because what the US has is not universal healthcare by any stretch of the imagination.

Euros & Yanks b*tching about Multiculturalism are equally nonsensical. -They're both complaining about something they've never done and don't actually have. And that'd be hilarious if it wasn't so genuinely pathetic.

Because she defines multi-culturalism of the past differently than the morons from the BNP and UKIP. Her definition is what has been practised in the past in Germany - each community was allowed to separate itself and live in ghettos of their own culture, with no effort made by either side to integrate the new citizens. If you had read her whole speech, you would have understood that we welcome foreigners - not just from the EU - in Germany but that they have to learn German and become full citizens, not just live on the fringes of society and become the underbelly of an otherwise coherent social body.

That is truly multi-cultural and the way forward for Germany..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
