Being a Southpaw I often wondered why such a small percentage of the population were lefties. They say less than 10% of the world are left-handed. Yet that small percentage makes up for some very interesting biographies and talents.
Within my family my dad was a lefty and so was both of my grandfathers and a number of aunts and uncles. On the outside they were just normal folks who worked hard. But when I looked a bit deeper into their lives, they were extraordinary in the field of artistry and leadership.
Even today when you look at the biographies of many great people, they were left-handed. Great business leaders like Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Angelina Jolie, Keanu Reeves, Bart Simpson, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Armstrong and so many others. Here's a great list of lefties http://www.biography.com/people/groups/f... Also, I've noticed lefties to be compassionate, solution finders, and a care to help all mankind.
Left-handedness is genetic and there are often more than one persons within a family that are left handed. Until the 60's it was trained out of students when writing. However in the late 50's it was discovered that left-handedness was also indicative of Left eye dominance too.
It was discovered in baseball payers--they could bat better when they could line up the ball with their left eye. That has led to the debunking of left-handed persons being clumsy because everything was made for a right handed user. Scissors, irons, all the gearing in an automobile.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
