Why did king Henry VIII kill 2 of his wives for allegedly commuting adultery when he himself was an adulterer?

Henry had only 2 of his wives executed. The rhyme is: Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced beheaded, survived. The stated cause for Anne Boleyn's execution was treason.

She was accused of having an incestuous relationship with her brother, alas well as adulterous affairs with others. Non of the charges have been historically proven and the accepted reason is that Henry was already involved with Jane Seymour. Catherine Howard was executed for having sexual relations with Thomas Culpepper.

In addition Catherine Howard had a very colorful past which was used against her. For both wives who were executed you have to ask yourself who benefits if they weren't queen. Henry believed that only a son could be the heir to the throne.

He did have an illegitimate son by one of his mistresses.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
