Why did King William I want to build his castles out of stone?

King William the I (William the conqueror) didn't build all his castles out of stone. In fact, most of the castles he built were made out of wood. These wooden castles were called Motte and Bailey castles.

The castles that he did build out of stone were called Stone Keep Castles (Stone Castles) King William built the Stone Keep Castles out of stone because stone is stronger than wood, doesn't rot within a few years and doesn't burn easily.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
