Why did Lil Kim go to jail?

In March '05, Lil Kim was found guilty of conspiracy and perjury. She lied to a grand jury regarding one of her friends being involved in a shooting. The shooting took place in 2001 in Manhattan.

Lil Kim wrote around 200 songs while in jail.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
