Why did president eisenhower send the army into Little Rock Arkansas in 1957?

The Little Rock schools were under orders to integrate, but the governor of Arkansas refused. Meanwhile, nine black students were trying to get in and begin their studies at Central High School. Seeing no cooperation (and lots of obstruction) from the governor, and being concerned about the potential of riots by angry white segregationists, President Eisenhower called in the National Guard to keep the peace and ensure the safety of the black students.

Republican President Eisenhower sent troops to Little Rock to fight Racists Democrats such as Gov. Orville Faubus who wanted to keep Blacks in their place.
