Why did Reagan say: "where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost."?

Reagan before he fired those air traffic controllers.

Reagan, referring to free unions fighting communist oppression in Poland, industrial unions. He was never referring to state-employee unions, and collective bargaining in conflict of interest.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
