Why did Republicans in the House and Senate vote against the biggest tax cut ever last week?

Get over it; it is not ALL Republicans but rather the Tea Party Republicans that are forcing Republican leaders in Congress to back No Tax Increases for the wealthy and ignoring the needs of the less wealthy. That is because the wealthy are supporting the Tea Party and have bought Republican Leadership in Washington. Look at CEO earnings - up 39% in 2011 from 2010.

WHile most Americans are suffering from loss of savings, loss of home, loss of work and loss of retirements the wealthy are getting more so. Remember the Republicans arguments when Obama started to repeal the Bush Tax cuts on the wealthy? The Repubs argued that in doing so the Wealthy would stop investing in job creating opportunities.

What a farce that was; the wealthy stopped investing in mid 2007 and they never changed their pattern after Obama backed off his intentions at the pleading of the GOP! They still have not invested and most likely will not. Their intent is to get as wealthy as they can and if that means taking more from the less wealthy they will do so!

The republicans are not well and able enough to be supportive.. They are not the bigger people. I well know this from experiences with them. One, republicans don't know how to clean their houses.. They let cat puke settle in their basements for over a year and do not clean it.

Also a republican will put everyone else down and use them, thinking that they are better.. They have no class, they are trash. :) Hope that helps. Handicaps are people too.

If we get higher taxes than we are paying for more of what America has. That means we get to live it more. We will see little of the "high" class people.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
