Why do a lot of Christians in the R&S section think all athiests don't have morals?

Because Christians believe that the supposed "laws" of their book of myths are the only morals that should be expressed by humanity. Oh no, please, not the horrible humiliation of the dreaded dislike button!

Not to mention, as an atheist we realize this life is most likely our one and only shot, so we make it count ^_~.

It is just not christians in r&s but everywhere.

Christians sit in those hateful churches where they're told that they're special for sitting there.... and they're special because only THEY have morals. It's just crap for stupid people.

I have not seen any christians saying this about atheists. Feeling guilty about something?

One core belief of Christians is that morality comes from God, thus, without God, atheists have no morality. The fact that we can demonstrate that we have morality in spite of this, does not disprove their belief, somehow.

Because those Christians are not Jesus-like in any way. They are fans, not followers.

Christians have fear of punishment and expectation of reward, that's all they got; both of which are absurd. Their conscience is stunted.

There is no definition of morality. If there were no society, we only live by consequences. If murder were legal and no one cared if you did it, we would do it.

Humans have no reason to be here. No matter how far society gets we always end up at the same ending, we don't matter. Nature doesn't matter, reality doesn't matter.

Live your life however you want, but always remember this: you're just star stuff. Nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe because they wouldn't know how to be "moral" without the bible, it's a disturbing thought if you think about it.

I find it really amusing. With the amount of sensitive data I work with on a daily basis, I would have to be someone who can be well trusted. But according to some, I have no morals. So why haven't I given in and exploited this for all its worth?

It's called out group hostility. Basically looking for flaws in others to justify your own (usually tenuous) beliefs. It's not restricted to questioning atheists on morality, but usually involves attacks on other theists, including factions of their own broad group.

Classical delusional behavior.

Because those people are ignorant, and believe that belief in no god equals they can't believe in morals. That and/or they are just trying to push peoples buttons. Then you have dumbasses like the guy below me (the Jesus saves guy) that think that all atheist think the same way and all of them are okay with the things he listed.

I don't believe any Christian with a solid belief thinks that Atheists don't have morals. The thing is because of sin you are separated from God by sin because of sin you stand condemned through Christ you find redemption. Christ became a final sacrifice to take sin away.

Living a moral life while good will not get you to heaven. Only through Christ Jesus. Can you obtain the heavenly realm.

Because their "intolerant" delusion teaches them that about atheists, along with a thousand other derogatory things. Then they wonder why atheists may have a problem with their disrespectful delusion.

They don't have moral , I mean have you seen Christopher HItchens in the movie Human Centipede 2 , he plays Marvin . That says it all!

I don't believe that I just think Many millions have suffered terribly and lost their lives because of this atheistic way of thinking. Atheism kills, because without God there are no rules—anything goes! Atheists are at the forefront of efforts to legitimize abortion, euthanasia, drug-taking, prostitution, pornography and promiscuity.

All these things cause misery, suffering and death. Atheism is the philosophy of death. Now atheists love to point to atrocities committed by supposed ‘Christians’— the Crusades and Northern Ireland are favourites.2 If the people committing these terrible deeds were indeed Christians, they were/are being inconsistent with their own standard of morality (e.g. , ‘do not murder’, ‘love your enemies’).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
