They just want you to grow up and understand certain things about life. I agree, they shouldn't throw it at us as fast, but it's something we have to do eventually. We honestly can't act like kids our entire life.
I don't ever remember being forced to grow up. I was the one eager to throw away my Bratz dolls, not my mom. The minute I turned 15 and a half, I had my driving permit.
The minute I turned 16, I had my license. The minute I had my license, I had a part time job. I was the one who made those decisions and I'm glad I did.
I have a lot of freedoms that my friends don't have, because I'm more mature than they are. If you don't realize your responsibilities, you'll never have the trust from your parents to go out and do things, which is why it's important to actually have responsibilities. Besides, if they didn't give us these responsibilities, we'd be so overwhelmed when we're adults that we'd never be able to do anything.
That's why it's important that from age 13 to age 18, our parents teach us the things we need to know and do to become capable adults. Otherwise, you'll probably amount to nothing and have no one... Just saying. I'm 17 and I'm an honor student.
I also have my own car. I do chores at home and I work part time. I have a wonderful boyfriend, and our first baby is due in May.
I'm glad I'm more mature than everyone else, because it's made me a better person and more capable to deal with adult responsibilities. I turn 18 in December and I'm not afraid at all to become an adult.
Well, you're 13. You aren't 7. Your brain is developed much more than it was when you were a child.
You'll be entering High School which is a ton of responsibility, and if you can't mature fast enough, it'll make your head spin.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
