Becaused they have been witness to many changes and to not buy into what everyone tells everyone else they out to believe whether there is proof or not. The idea, they would tell you, is that if you imagine yourself a victim enough, you will eventually prove it under the dictum of self-fulfilling prophecy. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
