Consoles and PCs can live side-by-side in peace. I recently opted to buy a PC rather than upgrade to a current-gen console, however my reasons were nothing to do with "master race" issues. I still have my last-gen console which I use sometimes, but as family has expanded,my time in front of the television has grown more and more rare.
I still use the console on those occasions when I have the house to myself or want to play a game with my eldest son, but the bulk of my gaming has shifted to my new PC simply for the reason that I am not fighting people for control of it. (note: although we also have a projector for use, we are consciously not a TV in every room household). As good as gaming keyboards and mouses/mice are, I still like the feeling of a dedicated controller (although I know that I need to use a m/k combo to be competitive online).
However, yes, I would consider "switching" to PC, just as I may consider "switching" back to console when the next generation appears (I darn near waited for Steam Machines to appear, but got bored waiting). Excluding one format of play over another always seems a bit churlish to me, and I'll take my gaming fix over a variety of formats.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
