Why do Muslims get to build a mosque any place close to ground zero?

Because they do not know right from wrong. Slap in the face to the people who perished. They should be ashamed more then anything.im amazed at how they think its ok.

Well...if they choose to build this mosque...on this particular site, in blatant poor taste and obviously as a F'you to America in General. Well, I would not be surprised if certain vocal elements of American society took matters into their own hands. But then again, that's probably what this Imam wants.

I'm sure he's hoping that building this mosque will hack off people who will do something to damage it and he'll be able to use their response to portray all Americans as infidels with a blind hatred of Islam. It's almost sad that he's willing to play politics with people's lives like that. He's hoping to hack off someone and get people killed just to make America look bad.

It's an old tactic, kind of like how the Muslims built a Mosque on top of the Jewish temple just to cause trouble.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
