Why do people think it's humane to shoot a dog when it's sick?

I didn't know they shot dogs, but I suppose they might if they don't have the right stuff. Vets and Rescue Centres often 'put dogs to sleep' (humanely euthanise) if a dog is too sick to be healed and is beyond help or if the road to recovery is too stressful/painful and the owner might prefer to let a dog's suffering end than put it through an operation which there is only a slight chance it will pull through and even then the dog will be in great pain. It is not humane to shoot a dog when it is sick, but people might think they are ending its suffering.

Hope this helped :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
