Why do progressives think Ron Paul can win?

No, he has no real chance of winning. His latest poll numbers show that he has the support of about 35% of GOP voters. That may be more than the others but there are still lots of GOP candidates in the running; 65% of GOP voters support other candidates over Trump.

Moreover, the last two presidential elections were largely decided by Hispanic voters. After the last presidential election the Republican party even made it a point to state they needed to do better with Hispanic voters in order to win future presidential elections. Hispanic and youth demographics overwhelmingly dislike Trump (for obvious reasons) and their numbers have only increased since the last election.

Not only that but even many moderate Republicans and establishment Republicans don't like Trump, his policies, or his hostle rhetoric so they may vote for a Democratic candidate if Trump gets the GOP nomination.

Although I prefer Cruz, I would be happy with Trump. And yes, he Really does have a chance at winning.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
