Personally, I don't believe in Islam, mainly because I'm a devout Catholic. However, I'm learning about it at the moment, and I'm glad, because I have found out that Islam is indeed a religion of peace, and I hope Muslims don't have to suffer oppression one day. It's not the religion that's wrong: It's what people do in the name of it.
The true image of Islam is hidden behind the terrorists that claim to do those evil things in the name of Islam, while anyone who even studied a summery of the Koran would know that it condemns such actions, and therefore the terrorist are nothing but an extreme minority.
I'm Muslim. I have friends who are from many backgrounds, some are jewish and some are gay. I even have Satanist and atheist friends.
They don't like Islam, but that doesn't mean they don't like me just because I'm muslim. Religion and spiritual belief don't come between our friendship =) Some people Like Islam, some people Don't, I like it and the people who don't, doesn't necessarily mean they don't like muslims =P Peace.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
