Why does fox news call themselves fair and balanced?

Well.. Look at it this way. When Bush was president, Bill O'reilly demanded that the president be shown respect in a time of war. He would literally shut off the microphones of people who had dissenting opinions.

He stated that respect must be shown, regardless of who the president is at tbe time. And then on January 20, 2009, he abruptly and utterly ended this policy for reasons which were never made clear. So in that sense, they are getting *closer* to fair and balanced.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
