Why does my kodak printer say "black ink cartridge not recognized. please replace cartridge"?

Press and hold the resume button for five or more seconds until you hear the machine start moving. , or buy ink. The resume button is often the same as the cancel.

You might need to replace with factory original ones. The refills or the replacement cheap ones might not have a code that tell the printer they have ink. Search Google for any comments or work-arounds.

Or there might be a hardware reset using the printer buttons. Contact Canon about that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
