Why does the tropical rain forest have the greatest diversity of any biome?

The tropical rainforest has more rain than any other biome on Earth. The more rain, the more plants can grow, and some of the largest trees can live here. The more individual plants the more diversity plant species, which is a large portion of the biodiversity in rainforests.

Also, the more plants, the more food for animals, and the more individual animals that can survive in an area, the more diversity of animal species can exist there.
