Why don't people recognize that our state of mind if full of joy is independent of material?

I belong to a different faith but see if this helps.

We must leave a legacy of good deeds behind to preserve the planet.

We must evolve in our search to finding the Ultimate reality.

All this must be done while we continue we our regular lives.

However in this age which we believe is the dark age not many evolved souls are born and so the quality of life is more materialistic and our ideals have deviated.

Hence, most of us are deviated by the dark forces more and hence misguided.

Very few like yourself, search in the right direction as your guiding light/pathways, now cannot be deterred by the dark forces.

I could care less about what I have materially speaking. I just want to know that my life is in the perfect will of God and that I am living as close to God as humanly possible. In the end it will be about our spiritual walk, not about how much we have materially.It will be all the people that we have influenced and helped along the way to come to Jesus.

Our blessings and rewards in heaven will be about what we have done for others and our walk with Jesus, not how much we have gained in this world.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
