Why has Obama become a 'pinata' for conservatives to take a whack at? Is there anything at all that they like about him?

No more than George Bush was a 'pinata' for the liberals. He ran as a centrist. He's governing from the far, far left.

He's probably the most liberal President we've ever had, with the possible exception of FDR. In my opinion most of his decisions have been harmful to our country and our people. Our deficit is out of control.

Our country is in a deep recession. We don't need more expensive welfare programs now. But he's intent on "spreading the wealth" - taking from the rich and giving to the poor (a socialist idea that didn't work out too well in the Soviet Union, as I recall).

He's weakening our upper and middle classes at a time when we need them to prosper so our country can prosper. He mocks and demeans people who don't like his programs. This is very unpresidential!

We are all Americans. He is there to represent all of us, yet he refuses to listen to any ideas other than his own. I could go on and on, but I'm attempting to help you understand why I don't like what our President is doing.

You asked if there is anything we like about him. He seems to be a good husband and father. He's a good speaker as long as he has a telepromter.

He has a lovely smile. I don't dislike him as a person, but I think his programs and intentions could destroy America as we know her. Sources: personal opinion .

I still know republicans who are smarting from the verbal beating they took when he was in office. The fact is that the government will always give people something to complain about and whoever is in power is an easy scapegoat. You don't hear much trash talk about republicans anymore because they simply aren't doing anything.

And no, I don't know of anything that they like about him.

One must carefully remember how President George W. Bush was treated by liberals. I really see the conservatives giving President B.

H. Obama the same treatment..

1 Because Bill Clinton was limited to two terms.

2 Maybe they're expecting a lot of salt water taffy to spill out of him when he breaks.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
