Well the reason science may have done more harm than good stems from the idea that ignorance is bliss. Some humans genuinely believe in fairy tales even to this day even though science and a little common sense has gone a long way to discredit and disprove said fairy tales such as christianity, islam, hinduism, buddhism, judaism, and a whole lot more fairy tales. ", you've been warned, you will be laughed at.

Their would be less pollution in the world if technology had not progress as far as it did but we would not have traveled into space or possess the means to communicate with people halfway around the globe.

I agree with hipnek. If it wasn't for that damned science we wouldn't have all these people here on earth eating up all our resources. It would just be you and me.

Agricultural science has helped our country become one of the best food producers in the world. Engineering science has helped up build the power plants that supply the computers we're using, as well as all the other technology we seem to depend on for transportation, staying in contact with family and friends, and helping our health be maintained. Whether all of this is good or harmful depends on your point of view, but, science has certainly helped me be a better reasonable thinker.

Depends on how you define harm ...
