Why is CA gov. Jerry Brown pushing so hard for tax extensions? Who runs the state him or the public unions?

I say this as a Con living in Liberal la-la land of California. Brown, even if he is a Democrat, is actually a pretty good governor. Brown, unlike so many of his other Democrats, always have been very fiscally responsible and tight with a buck.

He won't institute any new spending unless he knows it can be funded in the future, not just this year. In 30+ years of voting, Brown is the only Democrat I've ever voted for.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
