Why is every global warming summit declared as the last chance for action?

Our collective behavior has had an impact on the climate. And we believe by modifying our behavior we can reverse this trend. Its a collective effort by many many people.

At a very high level, I'd say yes, if enough people agree to change certain behaviors, we can change the weather. But what has ben done is not really us controlling the weather. The damage done was accidental and from our lack of knowledge on the impact of things we do.

I don't think that's quite the same as controlling the weather as in a deliberate effort.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
