Why is it "class warfare" to criticize corporate greed but not when Republicans criticize the poor?

Because Republicans like to have their concepts boiled down to one buzzword or catchphrase. It makes it easier to demonize a group they've targeted or people who oppose their policies. They ALWAYS have someone to hate - they NEED an enemy to give the illusion that they are defending "freedom."

Take the so-called "job creators -" the very people who benefit most from tax cuts haven't been creating jobs for ten years. The Reagan and Bush II tax cuts amounted to a huge transfer of wealth from the bottom up. In order for the standard of living to be raised, WEALTH must increase, and in order to do that, something must be produced.

Wall Street produces nothing - it's the miners and construction workers, and factory workers that actually produce the wealth. Since so many of them are out of work, the country is becoming poorer. Wall Street is nothing more than an economic bubble, making money from money, and nothing is produced.

There's a reason why the Bible forbids lending at interest - you end up with a situation like the current economy. Stocks and bonds are nothing but worthless paper unless something of real value is produced. The rich are getting richer with that worthless paper - but the middle class, the ones who actually produce the wealth with their labour, get more more and more money SUCKED out of their pockets, and when they protest, they get tear-gassed and pepper-sprayed.

Your header question is legitimate. The rich are clearly fleecing the poor. As a rule, liberal Democrats don't have a problem with that.

Now, your fancy white neighborhood will get to look like a slum, too. The question in your details is a non sequitur. Upholding the law sometimes requires pepper-spray.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
