Why is it that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary? Why didn't God create Jesus from dust like Adam?

Matt 1:22-23 - All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"-which means, "God with us. "Isa. 7:14 - “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”To be a perfect sacrifice, Jesus must mself be perfect -without sin.

Since our race is contaminated with sin, a miraculous entrance into the world would be required, hence the virgin birth.

Mary was a distant relative of King David (Luke 3:23-38) and so was Joseph (Matthew 1:1-17) and according to the Davidic Covenant (II Samuel 7), God promised the Jews that they would have a king and that this king (Jesus Christ) would be born in the line of David.

Jesus is truly divine and truly human. He had to be born of a human parent to fully understand the human condition (suffering, love, pain, changes, dealing with difficult people, etc) but he also had to fully dwell in his divinity (healing miracles, teaching of the love of God from a first point of view, being able to be the ultimate and sinless sacrifice to free us from sin, etc). Adam was a creation to start all of creation, to create another human in this way would get rid of any connection to us today.

Jesus had to be both human and divine to fully understand us and for us to fully (or as fully as we can) understand him.

Because Jesus is above other humans, he's God. And, the Holy Spirit came over Mary to infuse in her God's son..also God decided from all eternity -just like he thought of US from all eternity- that he wanted a woman to replace EVE who failed in the garden of eden. We don't know all of the answers as God's ways are not the ways of men.

But making Jesus out of the earth itself sounds like an insult to me...God is far above that.

Humans made from dust failed God, though they had everything they could want. To be a Hebrew the mother (not the father) has to be a Hebrew, as it was prophesied he would be.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
