Why is Jason Calacanis putting up an Answers page about TWiT and then opining on lots of planted questions rather than working it out?

At first I was pissed at Jason, but now I'm not so sure. First, I didn't realize that Leo himself stole the idea from This Week In Baseball... it wasn't his idea. Trademarks are very important, and purposely confusing people is basically fraud, but I don't think that is what Jason is doing.

Second, I thought Jason and Leo were competing against each other, but that is not really true. Jason/Leo are small fish battling against media giants. The whole of the media world is controlled by a few astonishingly large corporations like Viacom and NBC Universal.

Leo/Jason are million dollar players in world of Trillions. I think that Leo, and other people think that if someone else is doing well, they are doing worse. This is a natural human physiological heuristic, but its rarely true in a capitalist society.

Leo isn't hurt by Jason's move. At worst, this will force Leo to make sure his product is better than Jason, and at best, he could choose to team up with Jason. Either way, we win.

I'm pretty sure that Leo asked Jason to remove the TWiT netcasts from the listings on thisweekin. Com -- that site waters down the TWiT brand that has been built over the last half-decade at twit. Tv -- Leo doesn't want any more confusion so he can't partner with Jason.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
