Why should I better myself when the world around me gets worse?

If you are like me and you get to the parks around opening and stay until closing, it can be really nice to have a car. Generally, Disney transportation is good. However, there have been many, many times (and in the off-season, too!) that when trying to leave at the end of the day, I have had to wait through multiple buses because they all got full.

That can be pretty exasperating, as you are usually exhausted by that point. It can be nice to just walk to your car and avoid having to shove on a bus like sardines. A couple people said they have never had to wait more than 20 minutes.

Well, I have, regularly. In fact, I don't use Disney transportation anymore. I always stay off-property, and I bring or rent my own car.

I suppose if you come and go during the middle of the day, you won't have to wait long. But if you are trying to come and go at peak times, it can be crazy. And there you stand, tired, wanting to rest, and you are crammed into yet another line with hot, sweaty, people, waiting to leave.

And when you finally can get on a bus, you have to stand so close together ... not fun. Now that's not to say I never had a good experience, of course I have. But all in all, I would rather just get to my own comfortable car where I can relax.

Since you will have free parking anyway, why not? Last time I stayed on Disney property, we rented a car on the second day because we couldn't take it anymore. And we were all adults, we didn't even have children with us that time!

I'd like to know where you heard that from cuz its NOT TRUE. Disney transportation is GREAT. The buses run about every 20 minutes.

The only time I have waited 20 minutes is if I was running to catch the bus just as it was pulling away. And the only time I have waited longer than 20 minutes was right as the parks close cuz there are soooo many people headed to the buses at the same time and disney is very good about that and tries to have two buses waiting for each hotel but it can still take a bit of time especially if there are people in wheelchairs as the drivers need to situate them before letting everyone else on. Using the disney transportation also saves you from walking so far.

If you drive to the parks you will be parking FAR FAR AWAY from the actual park entrance and in some cases like at magic kingdom you will actually have to take a ferry or the monorail system anyways to get from the parking lot t the entrance. Where as the disney buses pull up at marked "bus stops" right near the entrances. Plus if you drive you have to stress about which road you are supposed to take and which way in the parking lot you are supposed to go where as with disney buses you just walk up to the "bus stop" that is marked with the park or hotel you want and get on the bus when it comes and then sit back and relax stress free.

I would HIGHLY recommend the disney transportation instead of driving to the parks.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
