Why the "Ground Zero Mosque" should be built: opinions?

Bill. This isn't about what you think of the Muslim religion. This is about what your think of AMERICA!

Do you believe on freedom of religion? Cuz I do, I think WE ARE BETTER then does Al-Qaeda People. WE ARE BETTER.

And to the guy who ask this question I totally agree with you, you are TRULY are an American.

Good points all. Honestly, I think we're doing more to radicalize Muslims by denying them the same freedom to build their places of worship as we give to other religions. It seems absurd to me to treat every Muslim as though they're furthering the cause of radical Islamists, and that's something we really need to get past.

If nothing else, this mosque being so close to Ground Zero has led to an important discussion in the country. I just hope that, at the end of that discussion, we come to the conclusion that really benefits us the most instead of the conclusion that would lead us to religious intolerance.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
