Why was Dakota Fanning picked to play Jane in Twilight?

I agree with you and believe that she is annoying to watch. She was OK in some of her younger movies but as she got older she got more and more irritating. She has been attempting to take on more adult roles and get out of the former child star trap and don't think it's working.

She should stick to going to school. Her agent must have pushed the pedal to the floor to get her on the cast. I guess her role as a vampire suits her only in the fact that she is horrific to watch in a movie.

Well, basically, Dakota Fanning fit the casting description for the character. Secondly, she's a big name. Then, Dakota Fanning is a capable young actor.

Put that all together, why would you not hire her!?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
