Why was the EU set up in such a way that a small country like Greece can cause a financial crisis?

The EU gave political guarantees. The situation in Portugal and Spain (and Ireland) isn´t as bad as in Greece and I hope they can hadle theire problems without bail outs. Well, the financial trubles in the UK are another thing becauce they are not part of the euro area.

I think Germany would bail out the UK in terms of real financial troubles but after that we have to look for someone who can bail out us. Maybe China...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
