Why was women's literature so important in history and american history?

Women's literature is so important because for a long time there was none and then it was the women who spent the most time reading. Illiteracy was not uncommon among women until the late 1700's or mid 1800's when Women's rights began to be an issue. Literature was also a way for women to express their views on politics, an area they were seldom allowed.

Once education became more equal women, statistically, started spending more time reading. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
