Why won't my Mackie digital product (D8B, HDR24/96, MDR24/96) read the OS disks?

The most common causes of this problem are bad floppy disks or floppies that were not properly created. Make sure to try fresh floppy diskettes if you're having trouble. Also, make sure to follow the installation instructions that accompany your specific product's software download.

Common error messages of this nature: • Error: Non System disk or Memory Extraction Error - This means the disk has no boot record on it. €¢ First verify that the disk was made correctly. Read through the download instructions for your particular product.

€¢ Make sure you are inserting the first install disk (and not the second or third). Don't rule out the possibility of a mislabeled diskette. €¢ Try making a new set of disks from a fresh download with a new set of floppies.

€¢ Floppy drive doesn't read - If the CPU BIOS settings are not correct, the floppy drive may not be considered as a boot device. Check out our Detailed FAQ for information on properly configuring the BIOS.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
