Will joining a study group help me in my biology class?

Joining a study group for your Biology class can be effective when you have already studied. The study group is for sharing of ideas that can be cleared up. When it is only during the study group session that you will be learning, it is not going to be as effective.

Biology is a challenging subject to take, indeed. A study group is needed only to understand the concepts better. Normally, learning with a group can make you understand the level of difficulty you have compared with the others.

Biology is an interesting class to take if you can understand the ideas well. Although Science subjects are challenging, they can be made simpler through explaining the concepts in layman’s terms. All of them can be understood with the right ways of explanation.

Study groups can be highly effective depending on the members of the group. In a subject like biology, study partners can all be better at particular parts of the subject. When you have a diversified group, each person can learn from the experience and knowledge of the other members.

Also, teaching others is a great way to learn yourself. When you have goals in your class you can divide the learning up between the group. Then each person learns their section thoroughly.

When you meet again, each member teaches the others what they learned. Study groups also help you to plan your schedule for studying. When you are responsible to others, it makes it easier to stay on task as you approach your learning.It keeps you from procrastinating as you know you have deadlines even before tests.

The interactive nature of the study group also aids in learning. Sometimes reading something in a book is not as effective as having it presented with a point of view by a fellow classmate.

I also had an anatomy class when I was in college and based on my experience joining a study group helps a lot. We were studying the bones and different parts of the it at first and it was overwhelming. There are so many bones that sometimes I feel frustrated because we have to identify each of them.

I have a small group of close friends and we usually study during our free time together. It was actually fun and I was able to retain a lot. Make sure that if you join the group, you are comfortable with them.

We try to help each other out. We also study individually but it helped a lot to discuss things as a group. We usually do some brain storming especially if we have an upcoming long quiz or practical exam.

If some members of our group cannot attend, my best friend and I who is taking the same course will take turns asking and answering questions. Sometimes, hearing questions and answers will help me recall important facts that are based on our lessons. My best friend was my study partner and whenever we have a long exam that is schedule, a group of us will meet and do some reviews as well.So, try to find a study partner or join a study group for this will surely help you a lot in your anatomy class.

As far as joining a study group to help you in your calculus class, it would probably be better to join a study group than to totally go it alone. However, your study group will likely study together, but if you are having trouble understanding the calculus formulas and equations you would be better off with one study partner. If you have that one on one interaction there is a better chance that you will be able to get the assistance that you actually need.

You would be best to partner up with one person who does really well in calculus and who won't mind helping you out and explaining things as you study together. Now, you may not be able to find someone who's great in calculus and wants to spend their time studying with you and helping you at the same time. It may be more than someone wants to take on.In this case, you would probably be better off advertising for a tutor and paying someone for their tutoring services.

Then, you will be able to get the specific assistance that you need and not feel like you are being a burden to someone else.

Depends on the study group/ partner. Most of the time yes, absolutely. If the other people in the group are there to study then they will help you greatly.It's always nice to have people to bounce ideas off of.

If you don't understand something, chances are someone else will. You will probably be able to help them out too! But like I said find a group that is there to study.

If you team up with a bunch that is unmotivated and just want a free ride, you will only accomplish group procrastination.

When I was in high school, I really enjoyed learning chemistry. Well it was because I liked the way my teacher taught us but when I was in college, I wasn't able to take Chemistry since I was not majoring Chemistry or my major had no Chemistry subject. So back to your first question, I would agree that group study is very helpful though I didn’t join any of it when I was in college.

I did study on my own because I also was most of the time tired after doing my part-time job. My roommates were really enjoying their group studies and good thing, that had helped them pass their tough subjects. So I think if you need backing for your chemistry subject then group studies may help you.

It’s free also (except on snacks) because you will be studying with your classmates. With group studies also esp. In chemistry, you will be able to exchange ideas and put together those ideas into an idea or conclusion that's very helpful for your experiments and for explaining theories.

I sucked at Chemistry in college I worked with this rich chick I wanted to bang but then my laptop broke and I had to drop the class. So yeah I guess but you don't need Chemistry to get rich so forget it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
