You should be able to create windows 8.1 install media http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windo... There is no reason why your windows 7 shouldn't be upgradable to windows 10 as long as you fullfill the requirements.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
