Will the armies of middle earth be able to defeat the hordes of mordor?

No you do not need that processor. You could use an i5-4670 or another quad core processor with a 3.4 GHz clock, 8 GB RAM, and a powerful GPU to play the game on high-ultra settings. Your proposed build is decent enough.

I would suggest getting a PSU that is closer to 550 watts bronze rated or better so it won't have to work as hard and will last longer. I would advise to go with the i5 4670 processor since you don't plan on overclocking and for the roughly $20 price difference (which you can find a better deal on sale) you can get a processor that is a bit faster. You don't need an i7 for ANY game really. With the exception for extreme benchmarking in games like ARMA 3 So yes, it's much better to stick with going for the i5. But one thing to note, that the 4670k exists, and is quite a bit better than the 4570k.

The 4570k is worse than the previous generation's 3570k, and the 4670k is equal to the 3570k. So i'd say, go with the 4670k instead for the optimal performance. I think it's about the same price so I wouldn't worry.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
