I have read similar articles like the one that's on Yahoo and this is just a rumour as of right now and if it does happen I will not be buying both PS4 and the new Xbox when both of them do launch and I will be playing anything like Colecovision to Playstation 2.

None of this has been confirmed by Microsoft or Sony. Even if it does turn out to be fact, they will soon see that it is a mistake. Forcing people to pay for Brand new games would destroy a lot of income for businesses such as Gamestop.
