Will there ever be a fix in place for these awful anonymous questions? I'm sick of these low-quality questions drowning out the good ones?

A little bit ironic coming from an anonymous user ;-) The folks here at Mahalo are hard at work on the whole "anonymous" issue. We think it's a great feature - as it opens up the site to a whole range of people that may not have used the site, or not have asked a particular question, before. We're tweaking a couple things today that will actually help a good deal with more many of the more "random" anonymous questions.

These tweaks will help us clarify question titles, erase accidental questions, and just generally increase the quality of questions throughout the Answers section. Answers is at the heart of Mahalo, so we're working tirelessly to make it a worthwhile platform and destination for everybody that wants to use it. A *good* point to note is that you - as a user - have the ability to 'erase' any question on the site, in a way.

If any question is voted as "Uninteresting" by two or more people, it is automatically removed for the site. So, what's the best way to make the site better? The best way to clear up the nonsense?

*vote it down! * Also, thanks for your feedback and your investment in the site - we love it when users get involved in the QC process! But, never hesitate to dig a little deeper and make suggestions on how to make things better - it will help us more in the long run.

Rock on, and thanks again for you being part of the community! (last note, sometimes questions may appear totally random, but often feature a "category" underneath them. For example, "What is his birthday" might seem like an instant "down" vote, but it might have a category under it that says "James Madison".

So, this is a case where a user was on our topic page about James Madison and simply wanted to know his birthday. Our tweaks at the end of the day will help fix this problem - but just keep it in mind in case they're still around here and there :-).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
