Would you rather read articles that are comical or academic?

Technical with a bit of fun makes it easier to keep me interested. The microsoft scripting guy blogs are enjoyable to read. I think strictly technical sometimes gets too boring especially if they're long.

If you are doing coding tutorials and stuff then technical is best but if you are describing a sort of technology or giving an opinion then comical is awesome.

I think a good balance keeps the reader interested. If you have too much of one then you lose their interest and they become bored.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
