Would you sue your sibling if you both played the lottery together and he/she denied you part of the win and split it with another sibling?

I would NEVER sue family.... but my relationship would certainly change with them in this situation.

If it goes this far there is nothing you can do as she will probably lie in Court anyway. But depending on the $ amount there definately could be a beating involved. I like the woman who hit the Lotto in the Bronx and went to a divorce lawyer before cashing the ticket.

Heard about this family dilemma on the news. What ever happened to family bonding? Trust?

Forgiveness? In this particular circumstance, it seems none of these exist. How sad :( I would never under any circumstances sue a family member.

There's probably more to this story than has been unveiled to the public. Details do not really matter though. What does matter, is the importance of family counseling, talking, listening, and forgiving with all parties involved.

I would seek a resolution of this matter to alleviate future guilt and/or grief that it may have caused. The sisters made a deal about winnings but did they ever make a deal about the importance of family love?

It seems to me that in this situation, the possibility of a family reconciliation improves with the court case. If it was me, I don't think I could ever forgive my siblings for leaving me out if I just let it go. But the process of a court proceeding could possibly turn the anger and hurt into a quest for truth and understanding.

I don't know if I would be strong enough to follow my own advice, but I'm not willing to judge the action Theresa took.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
