Wouldn't this country be better served if both houses of congress, including the presidency were run by women?

Similar questions: country served houses congress including presidency run women.

No more than both houses being all males, or all African-Americans, or all Caucasians. And here I thought the worship word was "diversity. " Silly me..

1 We could have had a woman VP and potential President. The voters did not go that way. As for the Congress, we have Nancy Pelosi.

How has she been different from past house leadership? .

Wendell replied to post #2: 3 I believe that a lot of guys would think the same thing about women in offices/professions of very high power and responsibility.....er, but none of them would have the balls to say it in public for fear that they will be labeled as "sexist" or chauvinistic etc... They do say it when they get together for a chat though, I'm sure. It's ironic isn;t it, that society has come to a point where not so long ago, women's roles were cleaning and scrubbing at home and bearing children and satisfying their husbands and would not argue with their husbands and now men in general are frightened to voice their opinion for fear of vilification laws and/or being singled-out as a non-PC, out-of-touch, meat-headed buffoon. The old saying about giving people an inch and they'll take a mile applies to this issue (perhaps 8 inches in this case).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
