Before your 5k run... 2 days before run 1/3rd , and walk 1/6th. Stay hydrated, and the day before walk 1/2 mile whick is nothing, but keeps things in line and eat carbs.... PASTA. (Im sure you know this last part).
Competitive and non-competitive runners and walkers are welcome at the 3rd Annual Red Shoe 5K. Last year, our event raised over $45,000 to benefit the children and families of RMHC. In 2013, our goal is to reach $15,000 and we need your help to do it!
This 5K event will have dri-fit T-shirts for adult participants, souvenir medals for Kid’s Fun Run participants, and prizes for our top runners. Ronald McDonald will join you for a warm-up and to say hello to all his fans. This event is family-friendly; strollers are welcome and ride free.
