Oh man would I love for it to happen, but unfortunately it looks like Rourke has pulled out. "HOUSTON (AP) — A spokeswoman for actor Mickey Rourke says he won't be taking his role as a professional wrestler into a real-life ring after all. Paula Woods told The Associated Press on Wednesday night that Rourke will not wrestle WWE superstar Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 25 in April at Houston's Reliant Stadium.
Woods wrote in an e-mail that the Oscar-nominated actor "will not be participating in Wrestlemania. He is focusing entirely on his acting career. "Rourke portrays professional wrestler Randy the Ram in the acclaimed movie "The Wrestler."
He made a surprise announcement about the wrestling event Sunday night on the red carpet before the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. Rourke had said he was going to toss Jericho "around the ring like tossed salad. "As far as who would win if they hypothetically did fight, Rourke would probably own Jericho in a boxing match since Rourke actually used to be a boxer.
If it was a wrestling match I'd still say Rourke because history has shown that whenever a special guest celebrity gets in the ring with a wrestler, they somehow manage to win.
Awe man I was looking forward to seeing Chris Jericho getting his butt kicked by an old wrinkled actor! NOT! Looks like Mickey Rourke might be smarter than he looks.
He knows he stands no chance getting in that ring!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
